Below is a list of selected projects that are either completed or still in development.
Full Spectrum - FSFit!
status: in development
Tasks: The client wanted a site developed for his fitness class. The site will be used as a sub site to the dojo that he teaches the course at. Because of this, many elements were borrowed to brand his site appropriately while updating the sites aesthetics. Due to constant updating, Wordpress was used to facilitate frequent changes made by the client. A base theme was used and was modified and skinned by the designer.

Yogurt Beach Shack
status: completed august 2011
Tasks: For this project, the client wanted a site that felt like an oasis. When looking at the frozen yogurt landscape, many of the site are very modern and almost sterile. This minimalist approach is not the feeling the client wanted, they wanted visitors to feel as though they were on the beach and listening to the waves crashing. And since they already had a logo designed, it needed to fit with that color palette.

Lindsey and Damian's Wedding site
status: completed July 2011
Tasks: I created this site for my upcoming weddding. The challenge was trying to create a wedding site using Wordpress that did not look like a Wordpress site. Wordpress is a powerful tool, but often the sites that utilize the CMS all look very similar. I was able to find a theme that was highly customizable, so I was able to tweak the code and assets to give us the desired layout and look.

Face to Face
status: completed May 2011
Tasks: This site was completed as part of the curriculum for the web design program at Santa Rosa Junior College. I was the project manager for my group which consisted of 4 students. In addition to managing the project I also created the navigation, calendar, slideshow and assisted in the overall design and layout. The client was very specific with what they wanted, and with an established identity, we had to make a site that was familiar yet fresh.

Campesino Cellars
status: redesign completed October 2010
Tasks: The redesign of Campesino Cellars included the addition of a shopping cart to allow online purchasing. After researching the possibilities, the client opted for Zencart. It was important to the client that the storefront be visually distinguished from the site, while maintianing the overall feel. He did not want the storefront to appear seamlessly in the body of the site.

KNS Labradors
status: completed September 2010
Tasks: This project was an update to a friends site. First we worked on the logo. My friend specifically wanted a regal feeling logo that used a shield. After the logo was designed, I designed the site. It was also important that my friend be able to update the site easily, so we chose to create the site using Wordpress. This was my first attempt at modifying a template on Wordpress.

Tasks: I created this site with a coworker while employed at Paramount Security. I was responsible for the overall design of the site and the template creation. My boss already had a logo and corporate identity, but he wanted a fresh look. This design scheme was also used in company stationary and marketing materials.

Campesino Cellars
status: completed March 2009
Tasks: I began by designing the logo and gathering the color scheme. Once that was in place, I started the design of the site. The owner wanted a simple, clean and modern look with a centerpiece slideshow on the opening page. He also wanted a contact page that was connected to a database so he could send newsletters. I was able to deliver on all of his needs and the logo I designed was used on his wine label.
